A: The free general conference pass will include access to all of the keynotes, breakout sessions, three free training sessions, and networking at our virtual conference.
Q: What is included in the pre-conference training?
A: Pre-conference training includes access to purchase either a half-day or full-day training, depending on your selection. If you signed up for certification, a certification prep course, and an exam, the exam is hosted online and can be taken up to 2 months after the conference. A voucher will be sent to you separately to take the exam.
Q: How do I qualify for a group rate for training?
A: Group rates are offered to groups of four or more attendees registering for training together. Contact dataaisummit@typeaevents.com to receive a group rate discount code.
Q: How will the training be in a virtual setting?
A: Training will be a fully live experience, with access to TAs and the instructor during the class.
Q: I am a confirmed speaker for the event, what should I do now?
A: An updated agreement has been sent to all speakers. All speakers will be automatically registered with a VIP virtual pass. Please contact Toby Malina with any questions.
Q: Can I participate as a sponsor in the event?
A: If you are interested in sponsorships or have any sponsorship questions, please contact summitsponsorships@databricks.com or dbsponsorships@typeaevents.com.
Q: Will I receive more information about how to navigate the Virtual Summit (ie: how to find a session talk) before the event?
A: We will be sending out a series of emails and blog posts that will help you make the most of your virtual experience.
Q: What if I miss a session I wanted to attend, will virtual sessions be available after the event?
A: Yes, sessions will be available on-demand on our virtual platform and other channels.
Q: Are there any system requirements to attend the virtual conference?
A: Yes, Google Chrome, Firefox and Edge are the preferred web browser for the event so please ensure you use one of these. To ensure you get the best experience, please also turn off any company VPN settings to optimize your experience. Please ensure you are using one of the below-operating systems to optimize your experience:

Q: What is the best device to attend the virtual event?
A: The virtual event platform can run on both mobile and desktop/laptop systems, however, for the best experience, a desktop/laptop computer is recommended.
